STAR can assist you if you’re living in private rental but are at risk of losing your tenancy due to rental arrears. Our focus is on keeping you in your private rental property.

If you work with us we will:

Make sure you understand your rights and responsibilities
Negotiate with your landlord or Real Estate Agent
Work on budgeting
Provide brokerage if needed
Refer you to services if you want additional help
Help you find a more affordable place if your current tenancy isn’t sustainable.
