Our Private Rental Assistance Program (PRAP) provides people who are experiencing or almost homeless with financial and practical support to get and keep a private rental home.
How can PRAP help me?
PRAP can provide two kinds of help:
Help
- with getting started, like rent in advance
- with rent you owe
- with some costs of setting up and living in a home
Help
- finding a private rental
- you apply for a rental
- Help to fix your rental history
- with information and support

You will need to live in our area, in the Ovens Murray and Goulburn region. If you don’t live locally we can help you find support where you live.
