We have constructed four homes in Wodonga that are the first social housing properties in our region to meet an 8-star energy rating.
Two of the properties were specifically allocated to victim-survivors of family violence.
These houses help us address energy poverty and to provide homes that are affordable to live in as well as rent. Funding from the Victorian Government’s Victorian Property Fund have allowed us to build these properties that significantly reduce energy bills for our tenants.
