Beyond Housing is currently recruiting two Project Officers to plan, coordinate, and monitor construction projects from design to handover, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget and to high quality standards, whilst mitigating risks.
Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be an integral member of the housing development team, responsible for managing a variety of projects concurrently, including the planning and programming of works.
These positions are being offered as a max term contract with an expected completion date of September 2028. Flexible location options are available, with roles based from either our Seymour, Shepparton, Wangaratta or Wodonga office.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor construction projects from design through to handover.
- Track project progress, timelines, budgets and key milestones.
- Identify, assess and report project risks and emerging issues.
- Support procurement activities, tender processes and contract administration.
- Maintain project documentation, records and project databases.
- Prepare monthly project reports and end-of-project reviews.
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, councils and community stakeholders.
- Support the Construction Manager with project delivery and contractual matters.
About you:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Project Officer who has the following:
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in project management or building and construction.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong relationships.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficient IT skills.
- Demonstrated experience monitoring project budgets.
- The capacity to assess and report on risks and emerging issues.
- A current drivers licence.
